Whanarua Bay Cottages are located on the Eastern Bay of Plenty side of
the East Cape. We are about an hour's drive from Opotiki along
StateHighway 35, which is part of the spectacular Pacific Coast
Highway. We have 2 lovely cottages available in this beautiful and
secluded bay. Each cottage has 2 bedrooms and is fully self-contained.
Both cottages have kitchen and laundry facilities, heating, outdoor
furniture and BBQ, and will sleep up to 5 people.
Take a stroll through lush native forest to a stunning waterfall,
or for the more energetic there is a track up Karirangi Point to a
lookout that offers superb views of the bay. Go for a swim or do some
rock fishing. You can even paddle out and explore the bay on one of our
kayaks. Those who just want to relax can enjoy a quiet picnic on one of
the 3 beaches or visit the macadamia orchard for a coffee in the café.
